People like you are the reason why the population and the markets are freaking the fuck out. The thing that's spreading faster than the virus is misinformation and stupidity. If everyone just chilled the fuck out, washed their hands, and stayed home / away from others when they don't feel well, this will all go away a lot sooner.

My company sent out 3 coronavirus emails in a single day, basically whipping people into a panic. I've never seen such terrible media, gov't, and corporate messaging before that almost wants to see panic.

Stocks lost half of their value in the mid 70s, half of their value from 2000 to 2002 (certain parts) and half of their value in 2008/2009. Of course, there was tremendous performance outside of those periods. The older I get, the more I realize that predicting market returns with any accuracy whatsoever is very difficult.

Maybe take a more pragmatic view than concocting theories / reading random scrap on the internet? The reality is that the virus exists, so take whatever measures you can to prevent getting it if you're so worried about it. Have good hygiene and live life my man
