DESTROY MY RESUME, IB SA 2021
Hi Monkeys, I'm in the process of applying for IB SA 2021 at BB and EB in NY, would love any and all feedback for my resume.

(it doesn't let me post the link, so just replace (dot) with . )
So you go to UPenn? Good resume otherwise, maybe too much white space.
haha
What makes you think that? Also no, its a non-ivy targe
Oh, I assumed you meant undergrad business school, my bad.
chicago?
you good at poker?
Better than the people I've been playing against
hope you're able to talk extensively about it if you put it there (e.g., playing gto, fold equity, EV, etc) in case they grill you on it
those bullets are super beat, change em to regular circles
Done
fluent in Latin ... too try hard
I thought it came across as amusing but point taken
I think just saying ACT: 35 is enough. Since that's near perfect, people already know you did very well in each topic. I think going in and writing in 35 for each subject comes off as a bit pretentious.
Gotcha
Tryhard
I appreciate the constructive criticism. Will work on it.
In all seriousness, you're pretty set for recruiting. Good luck
I would extend the lines you have under each section to the cover the dates. This is just my personal preference, but I think the lines helps organization and helps guide the readers' eyes a little better.
Will do, appreciate the input
would start the bullets under baseball as "selected to 2020 All Conference team" or whatever just to be consistent
Done, thanks for the help
could be me, but I don't think proficient in Google Docs is necessary. it will look a little extra compared to people who might also have actual software competencies in that line besides Excel
Good point, I did just throw that in there a while ago because it seemed empty, thanks.
I was going to say that you might want to take high school off but looks like you might have gone to a prep school with a good network—if so leave it on. If it’s not one of those schools (Andover, Choate, etc.) maybe leave it off just because it’s not that relevant anymore (keep ACT on there though, you could put it next to your college GPA, that’s what I’ve been seeing on resumes).
Best wishes with recruiting!
I was told by an alum associate to reach out to my employer this summer for resume specifics and to include them, but I have also heard that it doesn't look good, so I'm torn. As for the rest, I made the suggested edits, thanks for the feedback.
Yeah up to you, though if there’s ever a specific role or company where you think your high school is relevant to getting an interview, you could always just add it back on. Or, keep two copies of your resume, one with HS and one without.
Formatting aside, the actual content is strong.
Good luck man!
Thanks, good luck as well.
Two words: yee-haw
Gotta be open about the taste for country music
I once had an MD ask if I liked country music at the end of an interview so maybe it’ll come in handy for you too
