Diverse MBA student at H/S/W but no pre-MBA PE experience. What are my options?
I was reading through the forum and saw some posts saying there are PE internships at the MBA level that are targeted towards diverse students. What can I do to make myself competitive for these roles if I don't have pre-MBA Banking or PE experience?
I have access to a strong PE network through school, but I imagine they'd mostly be working with those who already have some sort of PE or transaction experience.
Wondering if PE is somewhat of a pipe dream for me and if I'd be better off recruiting for MBB or Tech.
There's a guy at GSB whose only pre-MBA experience is engineering and is summering at Apollo. I'd ping him.
