I thought I heard they hire for Private Equity and Credit... could someone confirm this?
I see interns and ft analysts on linkedin, but none of them have which group they're in, and tbh a fair amount aren't even from top targets or have really impressive relevant experience.

This is right. The only direct-from-undergrad analysts I know at Cerberus have an uncle or a father or a family friend who works there who got them the job.
Yeah it's extremely nepotistic. There's basically no recruiting process other than plugging friends and family of existing senior/senior-ish employees
