Dubai Landscape

Hi,

I am interested in doing IBD and particularly M&A but I could not find a good opportunity in the US. I am going to a target but struggling to get a visa sponsor. I am fluent in arabic and I was thinking about joining a BB in the ME, and more precisely Dubai where I can take advantage of my language abilities and (relative) network. I have heard that the deal flow in Dubai is relatively slow compared to NYC/London, how detrimental do you think it is?

I am not interested in staying there in the long term and would be interested to come back to the US for an MBA, and maybe join a PE, or still do IB for a couple of years. Do you think the transition is possible or am I likely to face a dead-end in Dubai if I go there as a Junior?

Thanks
