Escaping the FWB zone

Have any of you sucka's got experience in transitioning a friends with benefits situation into something more serious?

For context I have been very good friends with this girl for about 4 years and we have sex every now and then, so we aren't just casual acquaintances. As of late I have developed quite strong feelings for her and am unsure how to play the next move.

Congrats bro i wish i had something like this

All the chicks i have hooked up with i have felt not a thing for them

Worst still are the girls that i really like then after going out on 1 date and bringing them home and hooking up feel absolutely nothing for them anymore.

I think it’s possible though my best friend and his gf started off as fwbs, i think spending time outside the bedroom helps

Seriously.

OP - You're friends with this girl, you apparently have sex with this girl, but you can't have an adult conversation with her?

Lol classic WSO with the monkey shit to something actually wise. This is a sage wake-up call. If you're sleeping with this girl but can't express feelings then there's definitely something wrong here

Yeah, go ahead and tell her. 4 years is quite a long time. Don’t waste a chance.

What is it with these relationship posts, go to reddit.

Keep this experience in mind in the future. It's always the girl's job to ask for the relationship. If the girl hasn't asked, that's because she doesn't want one.

FWB has both "friends" and "benefits" in the name.

in addition to the benefits...were you truly "good friends" and doing friend stuff, like hiking / playing tennis / basketball / other sports / going to the gym together as workout buddies / doing things outdoors like long runs / walks...going grocery shopping and cooking fancy meals together...if you want "more" in the future than i would suggest adding more activities to your relationship...more exposure in multiple places and activities

just google it...you're welcome
