Exit Ops for Lateral Hires
There are a lot of threads on IB exit ops but not much on exit ops for monkeys who lateral into IB from something like corporate banking, valuation, tas, etc. How do exit ops vary for lateral hires (not counting analysts who lateral to other banks) vs analysts who start in the group after graduation? How does this vary for laterals coming in as a 1st year vs 2nd year analyst? I assume laterals coming in as 3rd year analysts have the same exit opps as associates since they are entering so late in the game.
