Face Moisturizer/Serum?
Suggestions on how to keep my face looking vibrant?
I shit you not, I have aged like 3 years in only one, and yes I work out and eat right.

No serum, but you do moisturize your face after you wash it right? I use a mild face wash the Neutrogena blue face wash you can get at every CVS/Walgreens. Recommend Cetaphil Face Moisturizer or Clinique yellow lotion. I'm not sure how this will be taken in this forum, but I had mild acne in my early 20s and using moisturizer helped get rid of it. Also use an under-eye cream, but only dab the area with your pinky.
Eat avacado too.
In the same vein, I shave(with the grain) at night every two days and use Art Of Shaving pre and after shave and my skin looks amazing no more acne. Don;t worry about the price tag, seems expensive but I swear the stuff lasts me almost a year.
Ahava after shave and jack black face moisturizer. Get some good shower produces and exfoliate in the AM.
Kiehl's has good stuff, if you walk in and shoot the shit with the sales rep for about 5 min they'll get you hooked up with what you need. I've got cleanser, toner and moisturizer from them - morning and nightly applications do the trick.
La Mer or bust. Anything less is like rubbing dog food on your face
Lubriderm advanced moisturizing lotion
Poppy Austin Retinol cream
I slather my face in both of these twice a day. I also use a dermaroller once a month or two

I've told plenty of ladies that man juice does the trick. Maybe it will work for you.
Activist skincare - startup with customized serums at a reasonable price.
first of all, dont be cheap with the facial amenities, you dont have to get la mer everything but dont get the $10 or less shit... face wash with a good cleanser, follow up with tonic (preferably one with some salicylic acid), and then lotion (and be generous with the lotion, i know you think your skin will get oily quickly but more moisture from the lotion will actually prevent flaking and your skin overproducing oil). use a scrub wash every couple of weeks if you want to prevent dead skin from possibly clogging your pores.
anyways, moisturizing is key, get a good lotion and there are ones out there nowadays that are oil-absorbing lotions too if your skin produces too much oil.
in the office, keep your cleansers and lotions if you have to stay late since youll want to do it every 12 hours rather than before and after sleep especially when getting little sleep. having around facial wipes especially in the hotter months is also helpful if your skin is oily.
Use a good cleanser with salicylic acid as mentioned earlier, exfoliate three times a week (products will vary as you'll probably have to experiment around with what works best for your skin) and what I do for shaving is hot shower for 3 minutes or so, shave, get back in shower and use facial cleanser, wash with warm water and then cool water. Skin looks great after doing this.
dear god
Glad to see all the ladies popping out to comment on this thread.
I normally hated moisturizers as they left my skin feeling greasy and didn't sink in fast enough.
Recently stumbled on nutrogena's Hydroboost line of products, changed my morning routine forever. Shit literally sinks in in 30 seconds and stopped all the flaky scaly skin I was eating around my nose.
Give it a try if you don't like the greasy feel.
Dig deeper into “work out and eat right”. What do you do exactly? Are you doing hot/cold exposure? IM fasting? Longer fasts? Low carb paleo? What supplements do you take? Sleep? How much do you move throughout the day? What do you do for sprints? For strength training? A lot of people think they’re in great health just because they’re not fat and have a gym membership. There’s a lot involved in being in great health. It’s a lifestyle. And there is nothing in the world that will have a greater impact on your skin than lifestyle.
And to answer your question, I'll use argan or coconut oil on my hands and face if it's very dry. Not often.
+1 on the coconut oil on hands. The beauty is you only really have to do it once/twice a week to see results
Aveeno (positively radiant with spf) is solid, and I've heard great things about Burt's Bees
OP, would you also like some eye liner suggestions? I can get you in contact with my GF, she'd be happy to help.
Use Nerium. My mom uses it, and also sells it. She and all of her Myrnas (older Jewish women who drink wine, play mah-jong, and go on cruises) swear by it - so yes, this post is for her. Not me. PM me if you want to try it and I can get you connected.
Baltic amber in facial moisturizer? Is it even possible? (Originally Posted: 09/21/2016)
Viking Shield - how did they manage to put baltic amber in their facial moisturizer? Is it in liquid form? Amber oil?
