Failed to pass Flow Traders math test, feeling I've missed a good opportunity

So, I applied for Flow Traders in Amsterdam. That place seemed awesome, one of the best rated company on Glassdoor, fantastic benefits, truly my dream place. After recieving a positive feedback for my cv I made a "neurolympics" test that went really well and today I had the math test, which I think I really underestimated: I've had like 3 days to prepare it but I think you really need weeks or months if you are not used to mental calculation. Now I am feeling miserable for not having passed that test and for losing this unique opportunity. Are there similar firms in Europe? Is there a chance for applying again in the future in your opinion?

I went through the process at flow. If you couldn't pass the math test it's really unlikely you would pass their case study so I wouldn't beat yourself up about it.

Just to be clear, the initial math screen during a prop trading interview process is one of several rounds of interviews of increasing complexity

You definitely want at least a week to prepare for some mental calculations on that first screen, but don't think you missed your shot because of the first test, there's plenty more on the backend that could trip you up, like the wrong personality

Optiver are basically the same thing.

It helps to learn mental multiplication/division tricks (for large numbers or large numbers of decimal places (not clear on how that helps in the job) but they will earn you time and points on the test.
