Fed Blows Up Markets Tomorrow?

With anticipated halving of the taper timeline, what are the odds they announce rate hikes starting early 2022?

Do you think markets react violently to it?

Full disclosure I'm shorting the Nasdaq right now. Probably stupid, but you know where I stand.

10y has remained relatively stable for a while and yields have gone down even with these newer high CPI prints; On the frontpage of WSJ a week-ish ago I saw on one side of the page an article about the obvious impending rate hike and on the other side there was a graph of bonds rallying. Bond market doesn't seem too worried about it. Strange times..

It’s such a strange market. All signs point to imminent downturn, but stocks go up.

If interest rates are a lagging indicator, then I would expect markets take a hefty hit if they were raised earlier than expected.
