Fidelity ER Associate vs BB/EB IB
Curious on your guys’s thoughts on whether a buy side er program or a top IB analyst program would set somebody up better to go down a PM path, and which would be better to potentially exit to an HF? Thx

Career Resources
Depends on the banking program. Fidelity is sick, and if you want to go to a HF, I'd start there, unless you end up at a GS TMT / MS M&A / PJT RX level opportunity.
Source: Went to a Harvard / Wharton and have friends that went through the Fidelity program.
Fidelity ofc
Fidelity hands down.
Did you just get your offer from your superday?
No, I have an offer from a very similar shop that I don't want to say the name of to stay as anonymous as I can
if you know that you want to go into HF I think Fidelity is a much safer play,
But if you are unsure about HF's then obviously IB is the safer play
Would a Fidelity associate be competitive against IB analysts for a PE role? Also, could a Fidelity research associate primarily just move into vanilla strategies, or could they also do activist/distressed stuff? Also, what if this were to be a research associate program in fixed income? Would the answer stay the same? Thx
why tf would you work in LO AM if you wanted to do PE? are you guys seriously just considering all of these careers as one amalgam? fuck me
Fidelity is very obviously the best choice here
@monkeybusiness1 did you get an offer from Fidelity for the summer program?
I have an offer from a competing shop of equal caliber and style that I don't want to name to stay anonymous, but it is incredibly similar in name and job role
I didn’t know that Difelity gave out offers yet
