Finding early to mid stage fundraising roles for pre IPO companies.

Hello,

I am interested in finding companies looking for private placements fundraising. It doesnt have to be only early stage. My main focus is finding good companies with equity compensation that will value from my network. If there is a tech site or forum where this is more commonly discussed, I would appreciate any names. Otherwise outside of formally working VC or PE how to private capital raising typically find firms. Thanks,
