Follow-Up Headhunter Meetings
Has anyone ever followed up with a headhunter for a second meeting? Met several of them back in the fall, but I don't think I made a stellar impression on some of them (been very quiet about opportunities so far). Is it a good idea to follow up with headhunters for a second meeting to update them on preference changes?
Yes follow up
How are they going to throw jobs your way if they forgot you're out there?
Seconded, of course follow up
Advice on follow up-email to recruiter. Is this good? Too long? (Originally Posted: 07/17/2015)
Dear Recruiter,
It’s a Jewish custom to say a prayer whenever something is beautiful. Conversely, it’s also a custom to say a prayer when something is so abhorrently ugly it makes your stomach turn. Rarely, do I feel the need to recite the latter prayer but upon seeing you face, I wanted to recite that prayer ten times over, hoping the Gods will reverse whatever damage happened upon your inception. I am by no means a religious person, but for a moment God and I shared a palatable bond. Your face has possibly ignited the religious fire my mom always wanted from me, and I wanted to thank you.
With that said, you can go fuck yourself. I canceled my train ticket home to spend the weekend with family, so we can speak at a convenient time for you. Then you ignore me.
Warmest regards, Monkey #5872
Well, I am not Jewish, but I would say you hit the nail on the head here.
Angry much?
dude just throw some Yiddish in there, and you are golden.
You forgot to add something about their mom.
