FT Conversation Rates
I have heard some SA programs are coming to end and return offers are being handed out. Any insight as to some of the conversation rates out there given these insane circumstances? I’m particularly interested in west coast groups but any information would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

BAML between 90-100%, Jefferies 50%. Those are the two that I know for sure
BAML is 100% return since I last heard
I know of one person who didn't get one so thats why I said between 90-100. I'ts prob higher than 90, but just wanted to be conservative
Citi and Moelis basically gave 100% return offers back in May
Then why does it take Citi 2 weeks after the internship ends to produce an official offer letter? Shouldn't they have it ready at the end or at least a verbal confirmation from their HR managers? My friend got none of those and hes shitting bricks.
edit: not everyone got FT return offers https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/citi-return-offers-go-out-today-…
No. BAML gave basically 100% and we still do not have offer letters.
That’s not true Citi interns got offer letters this past Thursday
No word at CS, still going for another 2 weeks
CS ends August 21st? Seems pretty late.
That is correct
MS peeps find out tomrrow
PWP is communicating with regards to its FT offers next week
Greenhill nyc was 100% or close to it
JPM finds out next week
Source? Is that group specific?
My intern manager. Could be group specific. We have to do this reapplying stuff for HR on Monday and Tuesday. So offers regardless of group will probably come Wed-Friday
any update on MS M&A?
Find out today at 12.10 pm
Idk whenever I talk with my network they never want to have a conversation. I would say the rates are pretty low...
Do these low rates mean the FT hiring will be larger - or just that they're cutting headcount?
Cutting headcount and then will potentially hire laterals in a year if economic outlook is good
Yeah I can imagine FT recruiting will be extremely tough this year bc of reduced headcount. Especially if one doesn’t already have an offer.
Any word on the EBs?
PWP finished today and communicating offers next week
EVR was high (~90%?) but not as high as historical (95%). Important to note that this is for NY M&A and they took the largest class they’ve ever taken this summer (64 interns)
EVR isn't doing anything for FT besides private placement
Any idea as to the other EVR offices?
MS and UBS were probably in line with historical offer rates, high 80%-low 90% conversions
Source: friends at these banks (they don’t know anyone who didn’t get one at their bank)
any idea about centerview and if there will be any FT spots there?
Friend said it was 100%. Likely no spots, but doesn't hurt to check.
any update on GS?
internship ended today, offers are coming in the next 1-2 weeks
Are you Summer analyst or asso? I know some offices give return offers this friday
Moelis offered FT returns during the first week of the internship, no FT recruiting will be happening.
Any idea of Nomura?
Any idea of Citi London?
What is JPM IBD return rate looking like?
