Know you technicals, they'll push on more slightly advanced more advanced topics and make you think. Also be able to articulate why you think you fit in with their niche space, they really look for that. Best of luck, if its the space you want to get into you will learn a lot.
What's in the background process? Do you have to send in your transcript ?

a contact said i might get a first round soon, but it's been a couple days havent heard since. thoughts?
did anybody take the online assesment? someone reached out asking me to do that, so I'm not sure if it's a part of the interview process or just another step to do after the applying
Its part of the interview process. Online assessment is 50 questions in 15 minutes and then a fit section. I completed then got invited for first round phone interview which is scheduled for tomorrow.
thanks, was the 50 question section easy/hard? any tips?
also I got this for both the nyc and sf offices, would you happen to know if they're different or the same if you also applied to both? thanks

Thoughts on NYC office? Pay vs street, exit opps? Seems like the info is still unclear and outdated.
Interviewed for NYC full-time. Friend of mine says they pay above street. Went through the assessment and scored in the ~80 percentile and received first round interview. Exit opps are definitely good but likely focused on tech growth equity, as is FT's strategy.
