Georgetown MSB MSF Exit Opps

Wondering where one can go with an MSF (Master's of Science in Finance) from Georgetown MSB. The stats look promising. $130k average base salary & 100% employment for last year's class. Is BB IB, EB IB, PE, or HF a reasonable expectation? I know that Georgetown MSB itself is a target, and seems to have a promising network. Interesting in hearing the general consensus.

Georgetown is an incredible community with a top-notch undergrad program, but no one from the MSF program is going BB IB, EB IB, etc. and any employment numbers are lies. It’s an online program designed for people who already have jobs and the classes are 120+ of students ranging from the ages of 22-60. 99% of the students have weak educational and professional backgrounds and the degree is mostly a prestige play to get a name brand institution on their resumes. Some of them are sponsored students who are federal employees trying to get to the next pay grade.

It is the definition of a cash cow. The serious MSFs are the usual suspects, Vanderbilt, MIT, etc. If you have to do online, UIndiana is a better business school that offers a more cost-effective option.

How can you claim that the employment numbers are lies lol. That aspect of your comment really weakens your whole argument. Claiming that a prestigious university puts out fraudulent employment statistics is quite an accusation. Just say you don't like Georgetown and move on.
