Getting Back into the game

Hi guys I am an Financial Advisor with a BB. I enjoy my work and I have help alot of families in my short career; however, it is not what I want to do with my professional career. For about 3 years now I have tried to get into IBD but I have failed. In my fustration I finally created an account on WSO and started reaching out for guidence. I recieved alot of input and recieved some great advice. I started looking at other LOB like : PWM, AM and ER. After some research I am starting to convert over to the ER side. I have even locked up 3 informational interviews this month.

I do need some more guidence and I am turning to WSO once again. I respect everybody's opinion and I want to thank you all in advance. It has been almost 3 years since I have opened Excel for equity analysis. To put it bluntly I am rusty. Is there any program or book that can help me? I know IBD guys have: AnEx, Wall Street Prep etc. Are there similar programs? I just want to be able to shine during these info interviews so thanks for helping a fellow monkey.

Once again I apologize for the grammar I have to write this at light speed in between appts.

Check your spelling because you don't want to have grammatical mistakes in your reports once you get the ER gig.

You are right I did a horrible job spelling good job. I usually I do a way better job spelling. In my defense I had to write that in 2 mins flat. Still great advice and will take that to heart
