GIC/Temasek vs BB
Anyone familiar with GIC/Temasek's program for undergrads? Would you take it over BB IB? My sense is work is more interesting since it's essentially a buy-side role but not sure if it's worth it to stick it with IB for exit opportunities. Appreciate any insights!
Are you a Singaporean? GIC is great (hours, culture etc) but remember they really give preference to scholars for promotions, and the US offices are satellites.
Source - My brother went through the entire interview process (before undergrad though - for the scholarship)
Thanks. I'm not Singaporean and I'm apply to the US offices. I plan to work for ~2 years and if the promotion mechanism is biased against me then I'll just leave for somewhere else. So do you think it's a good learning opportunity and leaves me options for exit?
I mean if you're planning to go to b-school after, I'm pretty sure its a solid place as it differentiates you from the rest of the 2+2 candidates.
However I'm not surely sure what the exit opps are. In singapore, GIC/Temasek is the exit opp.
Does anyone know what Temasek's intern process for NY looks like post HireVue/online assessments?
I finished the online test and video interview and hasn't heard back. Have you got any updates?
I'm in the same boat as you. Haven't heard anything since doing both the video interview and online tests.
also very interested
Any insights in what happens at an AC for Temasek?
No bulge bracket means no models and bottles means no buyside exit opps
bump
has anyone done the AC?
