Typically if you don't hear back in 3 days, you've been wait-listed or rejected. If you don't receive a rejection call in 1 week, that means you've most likely been waitlisted. If you've been waitlisted, you'll find out after 30 days of the superday if the other candidate has successful accepted his/her offer and has passed background.

Has anyone heard back? I was contacted last week by HR that the team needs more time to finalize candidates and will probably hear by this week...... If I'm waitlisted why did I even get a phone call?

If you haven't heard by today, you were either rejected or put on the wait list. Most likely rejected.
