Good funds that fly under the radar?
For those in the know, can we get some insights on some great but underrated asset management firms out there? I understand the biggest funds out there will get the most attention (Fidelity, PIMCO, BlackRock), but what about other funds that have an actively managed component but are never mentioned here?
Any that are great places to work?
Alcentra, Anchorage, Canyon, Electra...
Hotchkis & Wiley, WellsCap, Putnam, MFS, Pioneer, Walden, Century
All big names, but never seen them mentioned on WSO
Pioneer? Nah...
Haven't seen DoubleLine or Lord Abbett mentioned much either. Both are massive funds.

Edge apex western asset etc
Goldman Sachs
Putnam, Boston trust/walden, Champlain for value/equities and dodge & cox for fi
I've spent a lot of time looking into this as well given Fidelity, BlackRock and PIMCO are competitive places to break into. Here's a few more
