I was originally thinking about doing a consulting internship this summer, but it turns out I am not that interested in the consulting/case world. Of course I missed out on this year's BB IBD Summer Analyst positions. Last year I was a Summer Analyst at a BB, so I am interested in equally prestigious finance internship alternatives that are still open. Any ideas?

Just work a boutique, small HF, PE fund etc.
get a good story as people will call you the fuck out on why you weren't able to stay at your BB.
