I got an email a couple of weeks ago saying that my application was still under review and that they'd reach out with an update soon. I'm a sophomore from a non-target so I was surprised that they reached out, especially so late in December. Anyone know how the recruiting cycle is going for the IMD program, or has gotten any updates?

Don't know about the US, but here in the UK, GS's IMD campus recruiting seems random!
GS recruiting is the slowest thing ever, especially IMD. Rescheduled my superday three times (which they told me two months later).
Same story here- sophomore at non/semi target and got that email. Also, recruiting in general for sophomores is really unstructured so I'm not that surprised. Definitely keep me posted if you guys hear anything and I will too. Best.

Recruiter called and should hear back by next Thursday.

I just got a call for an interview at Goldman's IMD in NY for an SA position. I'm currently a junior right now who wants to go into investment banking.
I didn't apply to this position, but I suspect that an alumni I spoke with in the IMD forwarded my resume to the recruiter and that's how I got the interview. I don't know that much about IMD. Is it just PWM and AM? What are the odds that I could turn this into a FT offer at GS IBD? I currently have an offer from a lower MM bank in their IBD. Should I still take the GS IMD offer if I get it?
