GS SI Group Selection London - Need help!

Hi fellow monkeys,

I have been recently offered a spot at GS’s summer internship in the London office, and I am in the process of selecting one group from the M&A division and another one from the Financing division for their rotational internship. I was wondering if any of you could provide some information about the different groups’ cultures, hours, and overall deal flow. I am initially interested in both CRH-RE and TMT/Industrials, and in Credit Financing (HY, EMS, LV, Rest…). As for background, I am a European (non-UK) citizen looking to work in London after university.

Thanks in advance!

CRH-RE could potentially be more varied than TMT/IND I could guess. Also heard good things about the ECM teams. However also leaning TMT/CF as best choices.

Btw, have you heard back from BC? If yes/no, how long have you submitted it? Been running pretty long now and no update.

No, only know one other person, "in progress" as well. Fingers crossed, probably they just delayed it and haven't started them yet...just a bit anxious to get it over with, since I have cancelled all my other offers obviously...
