Guggenheim LA Superday

I have a superday tomorrow with Guggenheim in Los Angeles. Does anyone have any insight into the type of question they ask? The first round interview was pretty technical with very few behavioral questions and I was curious if it was going to be more of the same.

The LA office focuses on Consumer, Retail, and Media. They are led by the Vice Chairman of Guggenheim who is a former partner of Goldman, the former head of Digital Media at Moelis, and an ex-Goldman MD. The LA office has a very close relationship with Nordstrom and does all of their acquisitions.

I know an analyst who worked there and he told me he was getting crushed. He claims that unlike many other banks in LA, Guggenheim is 100% execution. This is probably due to the fact that the chairman sits in the office.

As far as the interview/selection process goes, it seems as if most of their current and previous analysts have strong experience (SAC Capital/Point 72, Imperial, etc.). They usually only take one summer analyst.

Hope this helps.
