Headwaters MB

Anyone know about this firm? When do they start recruiting. I have been following them for a while now and interested opps there.

How are they respected outside of the region? Are they comparable to McColl or Edgeview?

Thanks

They do not recruit, especially from UG. They have a couple associate positions avail right now for the first time in years. From a banker i met with at another boutique, they were hit pretty hard in '08 and and barely made it through (but who wasnt). Look around, and you will find their analyst/associates jumping to St. Charles and GMB. I would expect 50% of street in pay at the lower levels ($50 - 55k base, 15-25% bonus, 1st year analyst). They are very "upside down" triangle i.e. 25 MDs and 2 associates. I would say exit ops are limited to biz dev, small PE/HF maybe.

Take all this with a huge grain of salt, as IDK for sure, especially on the pay.
