!!!HELP: Interview with Securitized Products Group this week & am CLUELESS!!!
Hi everyone of WSO,
I just received an invite to interview for the Securitized Products group for a BB, but am completely confused as to what technicals would be asked. I've studied a lot on the technicals for IB and was wondering if the technicals for the securitization interview will be similar. Will I have to learn additional technicals for this interview and if so, what topics would they be revolved around? Thanks for all of your help in advance!!!!

Mergers and Inquisitions has a couple good articles on securitization and structured finance which would be a good place to start.

Wasnt asked any technicals in first round or superday. Pretty niche products, hard to ask technicals on it
I got asked some basic technicals about what securitization is, examples, and why it’s used. Answered them well, I unfortunately didn’t get an offer though. Hope that helps
