Help on Choosing Between Entry-Level Jobs

Hey guys!

I need a little help on choosing between potential job opportunities. I am graduating from a state university in May with a major in Finance. I have a 3.5 GPA and some work experience from a consulting internship, a congressional internship, and few part-time jobs. I want to break into the corporate finance side in maybe the area of analysis for an investment management firm or bulge bracket bank. I am also interested in the investment banking and capital markets sides of a bank.

The places I am currently going through the interview process with are...

A small Asset Management firm where I would be an advisor for the first year
A small financial advisory firm where I would be an analyst for two years
The OCC as an entry-level bank examiner
Regions Bank Management Associate Program
BB&T Leadership Development Program
Sales Position at BofA Merrill Lynch
Credit Manager at Wells Fargo

I am trying to decide which position can help me the most in breaking in the fields I really want to compete in. I want to do valuation and corporate/industry analysis for a firm/bank as soon as I get experience. I am currently preparing for the CFA Level I exam in June as well. Also which position seems to offer the best compensation package?

Thank you

OCC is a solid job, but they really want you to stick around. I interviewed with them and pretty much shot myself in the foot by talking about the CFA and going back to grad school.

I was in a bank leadership/management program and there are a lot of positives about it, but make sure you know what you will do when the thing is done with.

Sales Position at ML -->> Pass, no, dont do it

Credit manager is a solid background for understanding financials from within a bank

Asset Management firm --> What does adviser mean?
