Time to Quitttttt

Recently accepted an offer to join an MM IB firm. Have received the written offer and currently undergoing the background check. Any advice on when to give the notice to my current employer (firm has a two week notice policy) Should I wait for background to clear first?

Wait. Always wait for everything to clear and confirmed. Upside of waiting is just so much greater vs just starting a few weeks early on your new job.

Going through the same thing,  how long to expect to wait for background to clear? Been a week and I have not heard anything.

how do you start the new job without the background clearing lol?

what do background checks consist of? is it just to verify things on resume?
