Recently accepted an offer to join an MM IB firm. Have received the written offer and currently undergoing the background check. Any advice on when to give the notice to my current employer (firm has a two week notice policy) Should I wait for background to clear first?

Going through the same thing, how long to expect to wait for background to clear? Been a week and I have not heard anything.
not sure. I've been working for 4 week in the new role and i think its still going through. HR asked a question about a discrepancy last week
