How would I solve this type of case interview?

Hey everyone. I got tips from my friends about the type of case interview I will have. I was told it was a "spot the error" type of interview. I will be given a bunch of data sets and then a presentation. I will need to find the errors between the new sets of information and explain my new analysis.

How would I solve this/ structure my response? Please send me some resources. Interview is tomorrow.

Two types of errors:

Wrong formula Wrong hardcode

Treat this like an excel sheet... take the data, and get a quick understanding of what's hardcoded data and what's been formulaicly calculated based on the data on the sheet. Redo the formulas and spot check the math for sensibility.

If that checks out, start looking for outliers in the hardcoded data.
