I sent back my private equity case study late

I was given a case study to be finished in 3 hours. I killed it but I lose track of time and sent it 18 minutes late. FML....just wanted to know what people think and if anyone has gone trough the same and what happened....

Apologies, for the wording but this is really dumb. What light that does shine on you? A person who forgets about the most basic things...Unless your case is some over the top fantastic thing you are out..

These answers are ridiculous. Either they care about the exact time, or they don’t. Or they do, but not enough to cut you for that reason alone. Or they do, but you performed well enough to look past it. Or....

You get my point. Nobody can answer for you. No point ruminating on it. It’s not ideal but you can’t crystal ball this situation.

I have done 5 case studies. For 3 of them, I sent each one in late, and still got to next rounds. 1) 1 hr 15 minutes given, took 1:30 mins (got the offer) 2) 3 hours given, sent draft after 3 hours 10 mins, full version 3 hours 40 mins (got to next rounds) 3) 5.5 hours given, after 5 hours I gave them an update it would take an hour more, and sent it in after 6.5 hours (got the offer)

Depends bruh. If you're applying for a Japanese fund and you're 1 min late, you can bid the application sayonara
