So I graduated last spring and I will soon start work at a top consulting firm. During my long break, I took the GMAT and got a very good score (780). I know that these firms really like sending people to top business schools, so my score may be of interest to them. Should I try to tell the firm about my score? I know business school is a few years down the line, and I don't want to come across as a jerk. If I should, how should I do this diplomatically?

If you're at a top consulting firm as an undergrad, the average GMAT score of your peers will likely be around 750. So no one probably cares about your 780.
I agree with this, but still, a 780 is a really good score, above 75th percentile at even hbs/stanford.
You should wait though. No need to go in right away and start yapping about your gmat score. Fine to put on your resume, but don't bring it up.

Who would you tell? What good would it do? How would it ever be taken as something other than bragging? Who cares.
Put it on now. You can work bschool into the future plans discussion, and taking it early shows some initiative.
Don't expect to impress anybody, the same way a 3.8 really doesn't impress anybody.
