Anyone know what the rep of Insight's Onsite analyst program is versus their traditional investment analyst role? I know their full-time analyst role on the investing-side is commonly critiqued for it being almost entirely sourcing based and from what I can tell the Onsite position seems to cover diligence as well as operational aspects.

I know a few people who considered that path, but feel like you'll find a lot more value going the MBB route. Unless you're an investment analyst at a place like Insight, GA, Summit, etc, it seems like the pure consulting route will not only provide you with a better experience, but will keep your options open in terms of exits.
what about insight onsite vs MBB for exits to product management, tech corp strat, VC
