Intern Pre-Training Exam
Hey WSO,
Made a poor decision to do my pre-internship training exam a few days after getting my wisdom teeth out. Definitely should have just bitten the bullet and completed the courses at school during finals when I felt sharp, instead of during summer and post-op.
Anyway, I underestimated it and made an error during the exam. I hit "finish" when I assumed it was "next question." I had some questions I was going to revisit and fell slightly below the pass threshold. However, there's a retake approaching that I feel confident about.
I'd rather overreact to this than underestimate how competitive the selection process for return offers is. Will this stick negatively at all? Assuming I will be accurate with my work, and that I'll be a pleasant and humble intern, am I just overreacting?
Appreciate any insight into this, as well as return offer insight. Also my bank has a pretty good reputation for return rates. Thanks.
Really no big deal. Unlikely that it has any effect on whether you get a return offer. At most it is possibly used to help determine initial staffings. Just crush the make up and forget about it.
