Investment Banking Prestige Rankings for Finance World.
Nothing better than writing in this toxic forum huh? Welp, here are your undisputed investment banking prestige rankings for the finance world. Sorry to tell you, but whether you like or not, these are all pretty much universally agreed upon. BuT iTs AlL GrOuP DePeDenT sO YoU cAnT RaNk ThEm!!! Everyone knows this, this is just the best group at the bank (which is likely M&A/RX). Only ranking the ones people give a remote fuck about (and also not industry specific banks like Qatalyst/Lion etc), throw your monkey shit somewhere else RBC boys. Also, these are based on this years deal flow and last analyst class exits to PE/HF/GE. Toxic, but FACTUAL, post incoming…………
Hoping to garner a lot of monkey shit, but hey, maybe I get some bananas from the hardos?
- Goldman Sachs
- Morgan Stanley
- Evercore
- Centerview
- PJT
- JP Morgan
- Perella Weinberg
- Moelis
- Lazard
- Bank of America
- Citi
- Credit Suisse
- Barclays
- Guggenheim
- Jefferies
- Greenhill
- Rothschild
- UBS
- Houlihan Lokey
- William Blair
Don’t just throw monkey shit for the sake of throwing shit you stupid non target prospects. COMMENT with ideas. But it won’t change much, at best you can argue very very marginal changes with like 1 spot. But these are the rankings. Deal with it.
This is pretty accurate but dude you’re a nerd for posting this.

So Lazard and PWP are irrelevant? Ur a fking moron and belong in the back office slobbing on Jordan Belfort’s knob
Aye congrats on the Blair offer
I’d swap Barclays and CS but otherwise fairly accurate.
Stifel above Moelis but otherwise this is str8
If I'm looking to hire or interview an analyst, all BBs fall into the same mental bucket for me. After that, depends on the individual candidate. Only current and prospective bankers care about this.
So Goldman Sachs and UBS are in the same bucket? Yea dude. For sure man.
UBS and GS not the same, all else equal / same exact candidate, but that's not real life, and even then, the difference between those two and the analysts they hire is pretty low. There's a lot of variance within firms too. GS could have some Wharton people with awesome grades, but there's also analysts there with 3.5s from Indiana. It's tough to generalize as a result. Certain firms/BBs are kind of a filter/screen and after that it's up to the individual candidate to crush the interview. If you would've said GS is not the same as Lincoln International, then I'd 1000% agree.
PWP above moelis and Laz??
i dont get it why do you care so much about rankings????
Evercore #1. Shut up back office vagina
lol i dont work at bo, a job in IB is a job in IB stop being so stuck up in rankings you, be a decent human
This is amazingly useful and new data! The first of its kind! Thank you for enlightening us!
CS is bleeding people by the day...just saying.
Salmon Sisters is number one. Stfu

Congrats on the Jeffries offer bro hahahaha. gtfo of here with this BS
Can’t badmouth Jefferies now, HR is monitoring 24/7
Where's DB, RBC, WF? They belong in top 20
Jefferies this high? Wtf
Minor changes. List is generally correct other than falling for the PWP meme and not listing DB/RBC/WF.
WF does more business than RBC. They were $10mm behind JEF in tables last qtr. What is the deal w RBC on this forum? I don’t work at WF but we bake-off against them more regularly than some you listed above and I’m at a “top BB.” For the record, “top BB” is insanely stupid to say.
Check recent exits + current league tables. Ur living in 2018
Congrats on the RBC offer tho
PJT is worse than Lazard. Lazard exits well.
PJT is worse than Lazard. Lazard exits well.
PJT is worse than Lazard. Lazard exits well.
PJT is worse than Lazard. Lazard exits well.
Hope you’re having a great time at Lazard (x4)

Because he said he didn’t want to do by groups. And the two you mentioned don’t have that strong brand recognition outside of finance - of course, within finance they are top (that’s why 40% of their class is W lol)
Finally, I would add EVR RX to those 2.

Moelis is trash these days they lose the league tables every single year compared to the other EB’s. EVERCORE #1
Barclays behind CS is laughable at this point .
Barclays behind CS is laughable at this point .
Cs exits SHIT on Barclays exits. Barclays exits into Mcdondalds, and only infra PE
Shocker, the only analyst left at CS can’t spell.
That's true - no bank has any many seniors running for the door and exiting as CS does.
Why is HL on this list? can think of many firms that are better
