Is it Ok to text girls during work hours at Big Four
Hi there, have a question.
I have a friend who is working at one of the Big Four's advisory group as a senior consultant. Recently he had some trouble with a crazy girl. He has seen this girl for a few months and he wants to keep it casual but the girl doesn't want the same. And she starts to act bitchy. Now she is threatening my friend that she will call his boss and show him/her the numerous texts he sent to her during his work hours, like around 2pm or 3pm. Some of the texts were telling her that he only wanted sex, some were asking to go to her place later, and some were just flirting.
I'm curious if the crazy girl does that, will my friend be put in danger of losing his job? How's the company policy on this at most big fours? thanks

TIER 3: If BossMan finds out, he likely will not care and will either/or: a) be mildly irritated b) be mildly amused c) tell your buddy not to give people his contact information ever again
TIER 4 (could be Tier 0 since this is the preemptive strike Tier): Your friend thinks BlackmailingWhore would be able to get ahold of BossMan and BossMan would react unfavorably. The preemptive action is to make it so she has nothing to show him and either: a) doesn't bother contacting him b) still contacts him, but comes off even crazier than before
How do you accomplish this? By deleting the conversation or breaking her phone because she's a bitch anyway.
Alternatives:
A) Preemptively tell BossMan this may happen in hopes of lessening the blow. This is likely a bad idea because of the triviality of the issue and the lack of likelihood she'll ever contact him.
B) Cave and do what she wants. Bitch move, but your friend sounds like one.
C) Blackmail her in return. One should never expose themselves to someone who is not at least equally exposed, so he should have something.
For future reference, tell your friend to never give girls his employer's name. Where do you work? Investment firm. Finance. Dragon dildo manufacturing. Whatever. That's all you've gotta know. If I remember correctly, the info needs to be made public for it to be defamation? So privately contacting a boss wouldn't qualify, but contacting the media or standing outside the building with a sign would... so OP's homie has no theoretical legal recourse?

No one is going to care, unless the girl is also working at the firm. He should end things immediately, she does not want a casual relationship and she is crazy. You also do not want to venture over to the dark side that is some girl trying to be your baby mama.
Also, if you want a crazy girl to leave you alone, you need to become super clingly. Like, text her all the fucking time about stupid shit, send her pics, invite her everywhere and just act really needy.

Another strategy is to start acting all nice and shit and text her a lot, but substitute 70% of hanging out time with asking her to run errands for you.
If you go with with the 100% clingy approach, you need to be all touchy feely and gay and shit when you hang out and not leave her side. Ask her what she's doing all the time, what's taking so long in the bathroom (but be apologetic about it), etc.
If you go the errands route, then your time with her should consist of hooking up and then doing whatever you were gonna do as she kind of marinates.
If this girl is crazy enough to blackmail a guy over texts she is crazy enough for nobody to find her claims credible. Though it probably doesn't need to be said; don't stick your dick in crazy.

Have any friends that are attorneys? Have one of them send her a letter that states. Blackmail is illegal, punishable by jail time and civil damages. Tell her that if a lawsuit becomes necessary that the civil lawsuit will be filled in a state that has the highest civil multiple. Then the evidence of blackmail will be turned over to the police. Since this involves a psudeo form of mail that mail fraud is applicable.
Blackmail across international borders now becomes a federal crime in multiple jurisdictions. The FBI would likely be involved and since they might have trouble arresting her for this they could always frame her for a terrorist attack and then send in a black bag team. Not that this is likely, it never hurts to throw it in a letter from an attorney.
