Is this post-MBA offer term considered "market"?
Recently received a Post-MBA associate offer from a well known boutique shop that included a term differing any compensation review until the end of my second year, i.e. my base with hold steady for two years. My understanding is that associates receive base pay bumps year after year.
Has this term become industry standard? If not and you are aware of other banks that specifically don't do this, would you mind mentioning them. Thanks for the help y'all.
There was a thread recently about associate pay by year. Does end of your second year mean December 2020 or July 2021 (assuming a July 2019 start)? It sounds like a lot of places are now putting Aso0 stub associates and Aso1 (your first full year) on the same base salary.

Thanks for the reply tds2006. It means July 2021. As an aside, this bank pays out bonuses in May. I'm unsure if my bonus work period is May to April or if its a normal January to December work period that's just differed until May.
