ISA investments (UK) - experience and advice for beginner investors

Hey guys,

I'm keen to start saving as much as I can so I can quit working 100h+ a week as quick as I can. Obviously would have been great to start my own unicorn company, but I have no ideas for one - so putting my savings aside under some 7% / year interest is best I can think of (better ideas are welcome).

As I am based in the UK i wanted to start with getting advantage of my ISA (in the UK you can invest up to GBP20k a year tax free). Need to do so mindfully of the fact that I work in IBD and my investments need to be approved etc.

Based on that wanted to ask more sophisticated monkeys some advice. Which plaforms do you use - do you invest with your bank, or have apps like HL, AJ Bell, Inteligent Investor? Which ones are the most reasonable in terms of fees? I started with Freetrade but my experience with them was pretty bad therefore would rather prefer to pay some little fees and put all my savings in a trustworthy hands.

Any advice would be helpful!

Thanks guys
