Israeli Venture Capital Firm?

How would working for an Israeli venture capital firm as a junior analyst after undergrad be perceived by top business schools (Mostly HBS)? This is for my friend, he has an offer from a fairly prominent Israeli venture capital firm that focuses on the booming alternative energy and high tech industry there.

But he also has an offer to work in sales/trading at a prominent investment bank. This job pays more, but I'm guessing venture capital would be looked upon more favorably correct? This doesn't seem to conventional but I've heard that working overseas is looked upon favorably.

Yes, most definitely. Most top tier VC firms, the good ones not the shitty cold calling ones, have great HBS placement. If this firm is a player, then yes he'd be much better off. HBS is really big on entrepreneurship right now so VC will give him 10x more exposure to that then S&T.
