Not sure, but they manage 1bn and have 40 investment professionals...Economics cant be great
Don't forget about leverage. $1bn can turn into $3-4bn quickly in a long/short market-neutral model depending on how tight the risk parameters are.
Fwiw I know a couple people there and they're top notch. Former platform guys (citadel, etc) and time horizon is similar ie playing data points and earnings.
i know people who work there - think they are 2 and 20. been around for awhile, competitive pay scale, return on capital model

If their 13-F means anything they have 200 positions on around $750M and seem to be nothing more than a shitty S&P tracker. Biggest positions are KO and SPY. $11M in Tivo calls strikes me as hysterical. Maybe I'm missing something.

Any recent insights on these guys? A few recruiters have brought them up lately saying they’re looking to staff up after a “great” year.
I see them around at conferences frequently, they seem to have a good culture and good pay. Seems investment strategy is maybe similar to P72 as in medium/short term but more focused on best ideas. This is based my experience interviewing with them years ago and could be totally inaccurate.
My understanding is its former SAC/Point72 people, originally, who have built a similar short-term trading/sector specialist oriented business model. I believe they've done fairly well over time, but don't have many details.

pass through expenses like other market neutral multi managers so should have ok comp economics. anecdotally sounds like they've done well past few years
