Job Offer - Deloitte Consulting Vs Gartner Consulting

I am 34, currently in the job market and have over 10 years of IT consulting experience.

I have 2 job offers:
1st as a Senior Consultant from Deloitte consulting
2nd as a Associate Director from Gartner Consulting.

Roles are pretty much same, IT advisory and consulting services, but Gartner has a little more senior role, where I will have a team of consultants to manage.

Any suggestion on what are pro and cons of both? Whats will be better in long run?

Thanks.

What are your goals? I hear Gartner is the best tech consulting firm, but Deloitte has much better name recognition in general. I can't speak for the tech consulting world, so take that comment with a grain of salt. However, the fact that you can get a more senior position at Gartner might also be saying something. FYI you will probably have a small team under you as a senior consultant at Deloitte. I would get them to clarify where you would be coming in as a senior consultant - three years until promotion, or just one?

Thanks everyone. I want to be on a partner track job, and want to become a partner in next few years. Which company do you think has a better partner track and how easy/difficult it is to get there.
