I don't think there are any smartphones too much better than what Apple offers but that's definitely the case.

Honestly OP try getting a relx device. Doesn't require you to carry ejuices and the flavors are pretty good. Only downside is it occasionally leaks.

Personally, I can't stand the Juul. While I see the benefit in a form factor device like it, I'm not a particular fan of it. Although, in all fairness, I have 3-4 large vapes (2 with DNA 200 chipsets, an Innokin Proton, a HOHM Slice) and a few smaller devices (like the iPV). I have used a few Juul-style devices (the PHIX, and a few others), and while the form factor is nice, I would rather have the longer battery life that comes from using a 18650 powered device. My 2-Battery devices last 8+ hours depending on how often I vape.

On top of that, I prefer to vape 1.5mg, which means that I can't get pre-filled pods at my preferred level. As a result, I prefer an open system. I know the OP mentioned the Surion Drop, but I happen to like the Lost Vape Orion (I have one of their larger devices and can't complain about it. If you're looking at the Orion, I'd highly recommend the DNA Go version. I swear by the DNA Chipset). And you can't go wrong with Smok, GeekVape, or UWell either. In terms of flavor options, however, it opens up a wide array of choices (along with the downside of having to add nicotine to 0mg juices, but Sapphire Nicotine does a nice job with producing a single-use packet that can be added to adjust the nicotine level to my liking). Likewise, I can also have more control over how I vape through air control, coil size, coil material, etc. But, it comes with a downside of needing to deal with coils, re-wicking if you build your own coils, and having to carry E-Juice with you.

For me, it's a matter of balancing price and convenience. Juulpods for me run $27 (!!!)/pack in my hometown and a slightly more reasonable $14 in my school's town. I could probably spend less if I vaped freebase not nic salts like you do, but I have no idea how to re-wick, build coils etc. and I'm not that much of a stickler on air control, coil size, etc. Plus I probably couldn't fix a box mod in my pockets lol. For me open systems for salts like Sourins and Smok are the best deal, but I can see your reasoning there.

Well, Open System just refers to a system that's refillable. Technically, my devices are all open systems. Honestly, I don't recommend building, worrying about rewicking, fucking around with coil size, etc. unless you're seriously into vaping or you are cheap (the cost is soo much lower than buying coils). However, replacing coils is extremely easy. I throw my vape in my bag and have no issues. But I get the size factor being a real issue. And no, I don't vape pure nic. That's insane. I'll mix nic into whatever I buy so that the overall volume of nicotine works out to 1.5mg. That's pure suicide vaping pure nicotine.

I've been vaping for a few years. I've just picked up a lot of knowledge about it over time.

Now, if you want to talk to me about something I'm passionate about, let's talk about woodworking.
