Lazard SF TMT - Same as Lazard MM TMT?

Hi there,

I know Lazard has an active MM practice, but I wasn't aware they divided it by industry segments such as TMT. Is Lazard's SF TMT group divided among its flagship and MM practices?
Or is everyone in Lazard's TMT group essentially in the MM practice?

Thanks!

Above comments are correct. LMM TMT is a new group being set up in SF under the LMM business – not connected with Lazard TMT. The open positions relate to the new LMM group

I know Lazard's group in SF does mostly consulting work for clients on retainer. I spoke to someone who interned there and he said that the analysts in general were all surprised when they started at how little transaction work they do. I don't think they place well for buyside opportunities, but I know that it's a great work life balance if you want to stay in IB.
