Length of Spring Recruiting - Process

For those who have already gone through it, how long does recruting usually go for in the spring? I know we have one or two rounds on campus and then they start bringing you down to the city for more interviews. Does this go on all semester or is it only for a brief period of time? I am at a target if that has any impact on what the process looks like. I am planning on going to Europe for Spring Break next year in late March and was hoping the two events will not conflict with one another. I assume there are plenty of people who want to go somewhere for Spring Break their Junior spring. How does this generally work out for them?
