Longest you've waited for an offer

I had a super day with a boutique asset manager in NYC almost two weeks ago. In between interviews i asked the recruiter when I could expect a response and he said, "hopefully he can finish everything within a week or two". He then also asked if I am interviewing at any other places.

Since Its almost been two weeks, I should probably expect to not get an offer, right? I assume they have me as an alternate.
