Mass Formation & the COVID Narrative

I’m not sure if anyone watched Joe Rogan’s two recent podcasts with Dr. McCullough and Dr. Malone, but I was wondering if anyone has looked into this idea of Mass Formation that Mattias Desmet has spoken about. Both doctors referenced this as being the genesis of the COVID response crisis and are, from what I can tell, very qualified, intelligent, and brave MDs.

I will butcher this, but basically it is a theory of the psychology of totalitarianism that states that totalitarianism, or Mass Formation, evolves when enough people are 1. experiencing a lack of social bond 2. experiencing a lack of meaning making 3. Experiencing a lot of free floating anxiety (that is not connected to a mental representation) and psychological discontent 4. experiencing a lot of free floating frustration and aggression (that is not directed at a certain object or cause). The mass media then typically circulate a narrative indicating an object of anxiety while providing a strategy to deal with this anxiety. This then becomes a hyper narrow focus of the Mass Formation and its leaders while leading to irrationality, scapegoating, etc. This provides a mental representation for the free floating anxiety while also creating a new social bond, a new meaning making, and a new strategy for controlling the anxiety. It is basically a ritual that gets more functional for the crowd the more absurd it is.

Personally, I’ve read and watched a ton of information regarding this pandemic over these last 2 or so years, and this hits the nail on the head for me in terms of helping me understand close friends, family members, and even certain members of this forum. Anyone else? Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

What is crazier is that all of our governments, organizations, doctors, etc. who are advocating for us to get the vaccine are literally violating the Nuremberg code as these are still research vaccines and not FDA approved. Governments in Europe have actually advocated for changing the Nuremberg code.

And the doctors in particular are breaking multiple laws, not to mention their Hippocratic oath of first doing no harm, as well as the Nuremberg Code when they push the vaccines without fair representation of the risks, in particular myocarditis in young men and menstrual cycles in women. This happened to me not that long ago. I don't know if any other explanation makes sense for something this absurd.

I'm not sure it's a perfect diagnosis, nor do I think it really matters. Something has broken the brains of a significant portion of the world, from Canada to the U.S. to Australia to the UK. People have permanently reoriented their lives and allowed petty tyrants in government to dictate to them asinine behaviors devoid of scientific merit as many in the public cower in utter fear of an illness with median age of death of 80 + 3 or 4 co-morbidities. What's going on boggles the mind. The actual diagnosis doesn't matter.

No fooling--I was reading an article that one of the great tragedies is that Covid-19 will likely radically accelerate the death of the final WW2 veterans (that is, people born in the 1920s). Before Covid, 98+% of all WW2 veterans in the world had already died.

With respect to death, this has always been true: the young may, the old must.

Definitely true. He likens it to a type of mass hypnosis and explains it a bit better in the video. Anyways, a large portion of people have gone mad, but there are likely many, ~ 40%, who are not. The most important thing is for people not mad to keep speaking up to sway this middle group.
