MBB Middle East from Bocconi
I will be joining Bocconi's bachelor in economics and finance on a full scholarship. Interested in MC in the middle east. I also speak Arabic fluently. Should I try to recruit directly after my bachelor's or should I wait until completing my master's program?
I'll try to recruit straight out from Bsc. If it doesn't work, I'd consider a Msc.
MBB in MENA is kind of a joke to be honest though, I'd do some research on what those offices are like first.
Can you elaborate more on that?
Bain MENA is the worst of them bc they dont compete well on a lot of projects, so they do exclusively oil rn. In general, they've come off to me as a less legit version trying to play at being like NA MBB - they're much less professional and that can reflect in the office experience. This is from interviewing w several MBB MENA offices and having really bad experiences (either interviews that were unprofessional and very easy -- like they were play acting at trying to give a case or people were very rude) and ultimately choosing a NA office instead.
I heard MBB does a lot of federal PMO projects in ME, especially BCG. But I think this is more due to the region rather than the quality of the firm.
