MF PE Analyst Interview - Coming from Corp Dev

I was recently selected to interview with a MF (BX, KKR, BC, etc) next week (Random Resume Drop). The position is an FO Analyst role. I graduated last May (non-target) and currently work in Corporate Dev at a Fortune Top 5 Firm. Many things transpired during my recruiting season that eventually led me to accept an offer on the industry side. I have completed internships in MM PE and VC.

Realistically, I know the odds are HEAVILY stacked against me for this interview, but I have the following questions:

1) Do Resume Drops like this usually work at MFs? I was under the impression that these kind of gigs are mainly given through extensive networking and recruiting.

2) How would you approach an interview like this, given my experience? I know at some of these MFs the analysts roles are usually less "model" heavy. My PE internship spanned all levels of standard deal flow. Which portion of the work should i focus on? (Deal Sourcing, CIM review, LBO Model, LOI, Deal Close).

3) My first interview is a phone call with HR, should I expect technical, or more fit based questions? Given that the phone call is 30 mins, I would assume that it is going to be mostly fit/resume driven with a few technicals.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
