Recently had a first round on campus for Mizuho's IBD 2020 summer analyst position. Wanted to make a thread to see if anyone has heard back or has any updates.

What was the question mix like, behavioral/technical?9
Mine was an even split of both, technicals were merger model and basic DCF walk thru. Also very behavioral because they’re big on cultural fit from what I’ve read.
Can second that, I attend a semi-target ivy league and they said at least 2 will get the superday.
Are the applications live on their website? Cant seem to find internship summer 2020 IBD application anywhere

Had a first round at a semi-target. Was with an MD, zero technicals. Went really well. That was 10+ days ago, waiting to hear back.
Does anyone know the exit ops from Mizuho, or possibility of lateraling? I'm interested in M&A and they don't do much of it.
Hear you can easily transition to another top BB. Middle market PE is buy side opps
Are you sure about the mm pe exit opps? A linkedin search would say that almost all analysts from mizuho now in PE lateraled to a bb first. Almost no analysts exited to pe straight from mizuho
Anyone know how long it takes to know if you've been chosen for a superday? I'm assuming I got dinged because I haven't heard anything back yet in a week after first round...

hmm what if you had a first round right before the holiday season? i believe my interviewer over the phone said i should sit tight until the season is over in terms of next steps but tbh i forgot exactly what he said. this is for S&T btw

Does anyone know how can I apply if they don't recruit at my campus? I sent an email to HR but got no answer.
