Most Effective Way to Short the S&P500 (Long only strategy)
Without going short, that is. Long only strategy, how best to be short the S&P500 (using options, reversed ETF's).
Buying calls on an ultra short reversed ETF at the money where gamma is highest was my initial answer, does anyone know of a better way?
not effective but consider buying the VIX
I would think that is the most effective strat - but also combine with written calls on the levered long ETF for extra income
